Trevor M. Woodruff
Trevor Woodruff is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, motivational speaker and real estate investor. He is the founder and owner of Sophisticated Capital, which offers passive income through multifamily real estate investments.
Before becoming a respected veteran and business owner, Trevor Woodruff had a rocky childhood, growing up with an absent father and a mother who struggled with addiction. He experienced four foster homes, a group home, a boys’ home, and a Salvation Army home. At age 14, Trevor moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where he finished high school and enlisted to become a United States Marine.
Although Trevor nearly got kicked out of boot camp, joining the Marines eventually gave him the structure and discipline he missed growing up without a father. Military life also instilled standards, morals, and patriotism, and allowed him to channel his innovative, assertive, and fearless nature. As a Marine, Trevor was a 3052 packaging specialist, a drill instructor, and a Marine Corps black belt martial arts instructor. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012.
By sharing his experiences and offering motivational support, Trevor is passionate about assisting other people on their journey as well.
